Application Week - Small Groups - September 14th to 21st, 2010

Dr. Don James, who taught us during the Festival of the Laity last April, will spend eight days in Quebec for some in-basket training and to motivate us to endorse the vision of Holistic Small Groups in our local churches.

THESE LEADERSHIP MEETINGS ARE NOT FOR ALL. YOU HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN SMALL GROUPS AND/OR EVANGELISM. Pr Don James is building on what he taught us last April at La Fontaine, so places are limited and training content is adapted for a limited number of participants. Consequently, pastors and workers, as well as concerned local church leaders and those involved in small groups and/or evangelism should attend.

Also, YOU NEED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE since places are limited. Registration deadline is next Thursday September 9th. DO NOT REGISTER BY PHONE. Instead, send the completed Registration Form by Post Mail or by FAX. The postal address and the FAX number are given on the Registration Form itself.
A big gray button at the bottom right of the Registration Form allows you to send it also by E-Mail.

The first part of this seminar will be held at the Il Est Écrit Centre located at 4505 Rosemont blvd, Montreal, QC H1T 2E1. It will start on Tuesday evening, September 14, at 6:30 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. During daytime on Wednesday and Thursday, by appointment through Pr Vaillant Youte, Pastor Don James will be available to meet you individually by group or by church.

The second part of this seminar will begin Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Centre 7400 located at 7400 St. Laurent Blvd, Montreal QC H2R 2Y1 (North of Jean-Talon; South of the Jarry Park), with a break Friday afternoon, and will continue Friday evening, Sabbath all day, and will end on Sunday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Don James believes that training together pastors and leaders of the local churches is a winning formula.

The third part of this seminar FOR PASTORS, WORKERS AND ADMINISTRATORS ONLY, will be held at the Quebec Conference office in Longueuil on Monday the 20th and Tuesday September 21st, 2010.

Dr. James is coming back from England where a similar practical training was given at the end of July to lead a discipleship small group program for pastors and lay people. It is a very successful program. Please make plans to be with Dr. James, because he wants to help pastors and leaders to work together to become qualified workers for the harvest. He will teach us how to evangelize with the small groups. It will be a practical training on evangelism by the discipleship groups. Dr. James will be assisted by a student pastor from England.
